James D. Evans, MBA, President & CEO
Mr. Evans has spent the past seven years in a senior management capacity
growing young companies, and has helped raise more than $30 million in
private funding. He has been responsible for setting strategic and tactical
direction, as well as all aspects of product and business development. He
co-founded and helped grow eLabsEurope, a life science product company based
in Munich, to one hundred people in four countries. Before co-founding
AutoMedx, he worked as a consultant for HemCon Medical Technologies Inc., a
medical device company that produces hemostatic bandages. While consulting
for HemCon, he wrote the business plan, helped raise $5 million in private
funding, and handled investor relations. Mr. Evans has been intimately
involved in the design of the SAVe and has played a key role in developing
the relationship with the U.S. Army.
Mr. Evans received his MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of
Business Administration, and his BS in Business Administration from the
University of Virginia.
